  • Shirakatsy Lyceum's Middle School program is intended for students ages 10 to 16 and begins from 5th grade. The Middle School Program (MYP) is an innovative and comprehensive educational program that is both rigorous and designed to cultivate personal skills, fostering the development of lifelong learners.

It is a student-centered program that nurtures intellectually curious young adults, focusing on their social, emotional, and educational needs. The standards of the MYP are aligned with the goals and objectives of the Armenian National Education Program, preparing students to meet the requirements of both the IB Diploma Program and the High School National Program.

Middle School includes 3-4 meals, a transportation service for students to and from the Lyceum, psychological and medical services, as well as extracurricular activities and themed excursions.

  • Sunday School provides both Lyceum students and 5th to 9th grade students from public schools with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in mathematics, Armenian language, Russian language, and English. The programs for the subjects taught align with the standard requirements of public schools and the Lyceum.

Classes for students in grades 5-9 are conducted once a week, on Sundays. If necessary, classes can also be held on Saturdays. Classes are held in the Lyceum, the duration of one class is 50 minutes. Learning is carried out by subject teachers of the Lyceum. As a rule, the number of students in the preparatory Sunday school groups does not exceed 20. Group classes begin when there are at least 5 students enrolled.

During the academic year, applicants participate in active groups. If the number of participants exceeds 20, the group will be divided. An appropriate contract is signed with the parents of students participating in the courses.

The topics are cross-disciplinary, the content of all studied subjects contributes to world knowledge. Children learn to take meaningful action and become lifelong self-regulated learners through the development of a variety of skills, qualities, and attitudes. All services offered by the kindergarten are aimed at facilitating the care of parents and families: food, transportation, effective feedback about the child.
