About Kindergarten
The Kindergarten of the "Shirakatsy Lyceum" International Scientific-Educational Complex was founded in 1998. Kindergarten provides education for children aged 3-6. The educational process in the Kindergarten is organized by the International Baccalaureate Priary School (Primary Years Program or IB PYP) integrated educational program.
The goal of the Kindergarten is to form physically and mentally healthy, harmoniously developed students who will be fully prepared for further studies. The pedagogical and service staff of the Kindergarten is recruited on a competitive basis and constantly participates in trainings organized both in Armenia and abroad.

Who are we?
There are 4 groups in the Kindergarten. The distribution of groups is determined by age differences.
Those groups are:
- Clouds (3-4 years)
- Stars (4-5 years)
- Red Suns (5-6 years)
- Yellow Suns (5-6 years)
Each of the following groups works to achieve a different approach to development and education, which in turn creates a vibrant and effective learning environment.

Where are we in time and space?
In our Kindergarten, at the Lyceum, we have a special space for our young learners. We work hard to make a place where they want to learn and grow. Our aim is to help them be curious, grow well, and start their education journey on a solid base

How do we express ourselves?
Little students of the Lyceum love to create and develop all the time. Thanks to the lessons, students try to express themselves in different ways. It is very important for each child to be able to share their own thoughts and ideas. Self-expression is also facilitated by music, fine arts and rhythmic classes, as well as learning and playing environments.

How works Kindergarten?
The Kindergarten runs the International Baccalaureate Primary School Program - PYP (Primary Years Programme), which promotes cross-curricular learning of our students through natural play and exploration. Physical education, swimming, speech development, mathematics, and eco-education classes also contribute to this.

Terms and Services
The Kindergarten is built and decorated according to all safety rules, with furniture and property made of ecologically clean materials, corresponding to the age and individual characteristics of the children.
The Kindergarten has a comfortable yard and playground. Work in the kindergarten starts at 09:00 in the morning and ends at 17:15.
In order to ensure the comfort of our youngest children, as well as to organize their full development and education process, the Lyceum provides the following services.

CAFETERIA
The psychological service takes care of the psychological health of students in close cooperation with educators and the parent community.
The speech therapy service contributes to the formation and development of written and oral speech of all students.
The medical service provides health control, first aid for children, cleanliness in accordance with sanitary and hygienic standards.
Emphasizing safety and comfort, the transportation service has been improved over the years, and today not only students, but also employees are transported by modern and comfortable minibuses and buses.
The security service provides around-the-clock security for students and employees.
The cafeteria provides children with 4-time various, healthy and wholesome meals. The special diet is developed by a doctor-nutritionist.
Admission
We accept students into our kindergarten all year, as long as we have open spots available.
